Handmade bracelets with character
Koperberg bracelets combine colour, craftsmanship and distinctive materials. Many designs are made with small glass beads whose subtle variations and irregularities give each piece a lively appearance.
From delicate multi-strand bracelets to designs with symbolic charms and old beads, every bracelet in the collection has its own character.
Bracelets with old Bonda beads
An important part of the collection consists of bracelets made with Bonda beads. These old glass beads come from necklaces originally worn by Bonda women from Odisha in India.
The beads are reused in contemporary jewellery, giving them a new life while preserving their original colour, texture and history. Small differences between the beads are part of their character and make every bracelet unique.
White hearts, glass beads and distinctive colours
Alongside Bonda beads, the collection includes other types of glass beads. White hearts, for example, are made with a white glass core covered by a layer of coloured glass. This traditional technique creates rich colours and subtle variations.
Other bracelets combine glass beads with metallic accents, small charms or beads in warm and vibrant shades. This makes it possible to choose either a subtle design or a more colourful statement piece.
Naga beads and tribal influences
Some bracelets feature distinctive Naga beads and other elements inspired by traditional jewellery cultures from India and surrounding regions. These materials give the collection a recognisable tribal character while keeping the designs contemporary.
A bracelet with its own story
The combination of reused beads, craftsmanship and contemporary design gives these bracelets their distinctive character. Koperberg works with skilled women artisans who carefully assemble and finish each piece of jewellery.
