Necklace | Bonda | Long

Old beads - new look

These necklaces are handmade by the craftswomen from Beads for Life (Nepal). They are made with re-used glass beads from jewellery originally worn by Bonda women. The Bonda tribes live in the hills of Odisha, India. The women only wear a loincloth. Their torsos and heads are covered in strings of colourful beads.

The necklace is 130 cm long and is made with blue white glass beads and bronze beads.

A display card of handmade paper is delivered with the jewellery.
